Why do we need a community?

Only when we feel safe, accepted, and valued can we grow. We need a community because it pushes us to explore, learn and grow throughout our lives in a safe sangha. With the diversity a community offers we can inquire and exchange ideas, co-build and find the safety of the company of people in whose presence we can be vulnerable and find courage and perspectives to grow.

What are learning communities?

A learning community is a carefully selected group of people who share similar values and interests. With a common purpose and practice what they can achieve as a team is limitless.

3. We are thrilled to announce the expansion of the Teacher Leaders community in October 2022, with TLP 4.0 launching with 14 passionate educators who will learn and facilitate learning for groups of teachers over the course of a year. This year is very special for our vision of building teacher communities because the cohort is entirely self-driven (volunteers) and is being led by the belief and initiative of facilitators who volunteered from previous cohorts (Vasudha Co-founder Mera Gaon Meri Dunia, Neha Puri Coach at CIAM). Meet this community here
4. While our Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) colleagues were in India on February 19, 2023, a meet-up was planned at the IIC in Delhi. Creatnet Education and YASC began collaborating on the Young Leaders Program two years ago. Since then, the community has been strengthened online.

5. On November 7th 2022, we launched our Teen Leaders Program with teenagers from across India. We worked with schools and non-profit organisations to enroll self-motivated teenagers. The goal of this program is to develop a community of conscious and creative young leaders who can navigate through life’s challenges.
6. Creatnet Education and Alokit held a facilitator development workshop for a group of principals from Hyd, Pune, Mumbai, & Bangalore at The Valley School, KFI, in November 2022. It was a three-day leadership program designed to foster a community of eight school principals from low-income private schools.
